Nord Emballage's new concept: With us, you are the star!   Ever since the company was founded in 1949, Nord Emballage has had a reputation for one thing in particular: customer focus. Because customer focus creates satisfied customers and long-term partnerships, it allows us to build special competencies for each customer's specific requirements. Such competencies pave the way for qualified input and feedback, and the development of individual product types to give our customers a competitive edge.   Did you know that most customers who turn to new suppliers do NOT do so because of price? Neither is it because of quality or irregular deliveries. They do so because they receive insufficient attention. No less than 68% quit a supplier because he has failed to be sufficiently aware of the particular needs of the customer.   That's why we were in no doubt when our marketing people came up with our new concept. Because it is part of our tradition, and because statistics speak for themselves: Customer focus! Customer focus! Customer focus! Getting the visual impression right was a little more tricky. But when the little circus star was presented to us, we fell in love. She signals the attention and receptiveness we show our customers.   With us, she is the star - just like you!
Organizational changes at Nord-Emballage   Having taken care of marketing and sales for more than 18 years, Ulf Jeppsson will now focus on the further development of Nord-Emballage’s own packaging ”NoBag®”. This project comprises packaging construction as weel as machine packaging solutions, and it will need Ulf’s full attention. As a consequence of this, as of november 1st, Lars Lindström, will take over Ulf’s job as sales & marketing manager. Lars has many years’ experience in the packaging business. In his early years he worked as a printer at Nord-Emballage followed by some years with various jobs as a salesman. Lars even ran his own company during a ten years period. Since 1998, Lars has been an area manager at Nord-Emballage. We believe, that this change in our organization will add to the market strengths of Nord-Emballage and Zäta Förpackning.
AB Nord-Emballage celebrated two jubilees in september. On September 20th it was 50 years ago since AB Nord-Emballage VD, Göran Jeppsson, began his carrer in the printing business. And it was 40 years ago he purchased AB Nord-Emballage. This was celebrated with a party for customers, suppliers, family and friends of the company on Thursday September 20th. The celebration for the employees will take place later this year. The party was held in a beautiful tent, which was elegantly decorated with curtains on walls and ceiling. Everybody enjoyed a nice lunch prior to the conducted factory tour, where the guests had the opportunity to see Nord-Emballages many new investments ... a.o. a new Heidelberg printing press, which allows for the printing of 7 colours and 2 lacquers in one run-through. After the coffee the surprise of the day turned up. The well known artist, Michael Neumann, entertained the guests for about an hour ... singing and telling small anecdotes about Nord-Emballage and the years that have passed. Michael had really prepared himself well, and everybody enjoyed themselves listening to the "slightly paraphrased" versions of Nord-Emballages and Göran Jeppsson's history ... the man in the middle, Göran Jeppsson not the least. - I would like to express my gratitude to everybody who participated in the celebration of the jubilees, says VD Göran Jeppsson. This day will be memorable for me many years to come.		Göran Jeppsson, the day's man in the middle, wellcomed everybody and brought thanks to a.o. his former partner, who is 90 years old today, and to his wife for support and help during the many years.
